PT Makmur Lestari Primatama (MLP) was established in Jakarta
on September 12, 2006 by Deed Number 01 of 2006 before
Notary Wiwiek Widjajanti, SH. Since its inception, the
Company has determined its business activities consistently,
namely to engage in mineral mining, particularly nickel ore
mining.
A year after its establishment, PT Makmur Lestari Primatama
obtained an Exploration mining authorization from the Regent
of Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. Until 2014, through the
Decree of the Regent No. 407 The company obtained a
Production Operation IUP from the Regent of North Konawe.
The Director General of Mineral and Coal emphasized the IUP
in the 2015 Clear and Clean certificate which stated that
the IUP of PT Makmur Lestari Primatama did not overlap with
the IUP of other mining companies.
The mining location of PT Makmur Lestari Primatama is in the
Langgikima area, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.
Geologically, the North Konawe region contains high-quality
nickel. Nickel ore mined at the PT Makmur Lestari Primatama
site has varying grades, from 1.5% - >2.00% Ni. Besides Ni
content, iron (Fe) content also varies around 15% - 30%,
adjusted to market demand.
